Some useful information for getting to Modena and to the workshop venue
1) By plane: the closest airport is Bologna
Airport "Guglielmo Marconi" (~40 Km). From there, you can take the
AERBUS,
a bus that runs directly to Modena every two hours. Stop at "via Vignolese/Università"
to go to Dept. Physics.
A bus service connects the airport to the railway station Bologna Centrale;
from Bologna Centrale, follow step 2).
2) By train: Take a look at the Trenitalia
time schedule. There are bus services from the train Station in Modena
to the venue (see Bus below).
3) By car (from the highway): Leave the highway
A1 at "Modena sud". At the exit turn right and follow via Vignolese
for about 10 km. You will pass a big crossroads with a roundabout (with
a big "grape" glass statue in the middle); keep driving straight to the
next traffic light. Here, turn right in via G. Campi. The entrance of
the campus is about 100 m far on your right.
Bus services: Two bus lines (see map) connect the F.S. train station
to the venue: no. 7 (to "Polo Universitario") and no. 2 (to "S. Donnino"
or "S. Damaso").
